We have been treated to so many wonderful film adaptations of much loved novels in recent years that although the book will always be better the gulf is definitely lessening.
Everything, Everything is a novel by author Nicola Yoon and it follows the story of Maddy who is allergic to the world; even the simple act of stepping outside the sterile sanctuary of her home could kill her and so she stays indoors. Until Olly moves in next door.
In that one moment Maddy realises that life without risks is not living it’s simply existing and she is not prepared to carry on without experiencing the joys that the outside world, and Olly has to offer her.
