New Ladybird Parody Book for Comic Relief

By February 2, 2017New Releases, News

At least £2 from every sale to Comic Relief

The Ladybird Parody books for grown ups have been quite a hit since their inception in 2015 and there have been many new titles added since. Now Ladybird has announced a new book for charity set to coincide with Comic Relief, which means the Ladybird Book of the Do-Gooder will be out at the end of February and will be on sale in the run up to Red Nose Day on 24th March.

The new book will be in the same style as the rest of the nostalgic spoof series and will be a take on sponsored events such as breakfasts, school runs and commutes, an underwater swim from Land’s End to John O’ Groats and half sky-dives. As always the theme is guaranteed to raise a chuckle, but this book in the series will raise money for the charity Comic Relief too, with all royalties going to the charity.

Other Comic Relief books this year are Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them with a percentage of sales going to charity, and Hogwarts Library Books: Quidditch Through the Ages. The Rowling books have been available for a while now and were originally published for Comic Relief several years ago, this year will offer the new edition of both books.
