Trump’s Documents Found Clogging the White House Toilets

By February 12, 2022New Releases, News, Political

According to a book by a New York Times correspondent, official papers had regularly been found clogging the toilets in the White House.

When Trump was president, his staff would find swathes of printed papers in clogged toilets, and they were believed to have been flushed by the president himself.

Former White House correspondent for the NYT, Maggie Haberman wrote all about this bizarre occurrence in her book Confidence Man.

This toilet-flushing scandal emerges as the National Archives has reportedly been asking the Justice Department to look into Trump’s handling of White House records, particularly since the drama surrounding the January 6th attack on the Capitol.

National Archives officials had “suspected Trump violated laws concerning the handling of government documents,” then found 15 boxes of classified material in Mar-a-Lago.

Haberman also writes of how Trump tells people that since he left the position of US President, he has remained in contact with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un. Incidentally the “love letters,” named as such by Trump, were among documents the National Archives retrieved from Mar-a-Lago.

Haberman’s Confidence Man: The Making of Donald Trump and the Breaking of America is to be published by Penguin and released on October 4th 2022.

The publisher says it follows Trump’s early life in New York and “his decades of interactions with prosecutors”, all the way through the four years in the White House, ending with his post-presidential life.

Trump advisers were not happy about the decision to talk to Haberman but Trump would not listen to any advice and spoke in depth with her as part of his extensive conversations with book authors at Mar-a-Lago.

Haberman has lived and worked in New York for her whole career and has covered Trump’s political career since 2011, and even his earlier life when working as a reporter for the NY Post and Daily News. According to experts this is one book Trump is fearing, and if he is not, he should.
