Harry and Meghan signed a 4-book deal including memoirs

By July 29, 2021New Releases, News

Harry and Meghan have reportedly signed a four-book deal worth $20 million.

The deal will include Harry’s previously reported memoir in which he will write an “accurate and wholly truthful” account of his life- “not as the prince I was born but as the man I have become”, he says. The intimate memoir will cover his lifetime in the British Royal Family living in the public eye, including time he spent in the military, and will cover his marriage and fatherhood.

Reports say the other books in the deal will include a memoir by Meghan, and a book the couple will write together about “leadership and philanthropy”.

There are also reports that Harry’s memoir will be split into two parts- one released next year and another released after the death of his grandmother Queen Elizabeth II, however this has been strongly denied and Harry has confirmed only one memoir will be released.

Meghan will apparently be releasing a book on ‘wellness’ as well as her and Harry’s book on philanthropy, and her own memoir. These will not, of course, be her first ventures into writing as the Duchess has recently released a children’s book called The Bench which was inspired by a poem she had written for Harry for Father’s Day.

Watch this space to find out more details on the couple’s book deal as they are released.
