A family-built Harry Potter themed tiny home is for sale!
Jan and Emily Cheves are a mother-daughter team with a shared passion for designing and building the ultimate tiny fantasy homes, providing opportunity and inspiration to others with their vision and skills. Their latest project was completed in 2019, and was something of a passion project.
The Hogwarts Inn Express is ultimate tribute to Harry Potter, complete with fully Hogwarts-inspired decor. The tiny home has a vintage train exterior on a 24′ RV-compliant trailer, completely furnished and decorated with over 100 licensed products. It contains a master with a double mattress, a second loft with twin mattress, and a sofa that converts into bed.
The 14,000-lb capacity trailer is not style over substance, either. According to the website the home is “built to the high standards of a typical foundation home, with 16″ on center stud placement and additional stud support; built-in trailer bolts to attach the walls, as well as additional Simpson strong ties on every wall; extensive structural elements, including hurricane ties and structural straps; LP Smartside siding and so much more.”
The duo suggest a buyer could either enjoy as a mobile home, or use it for visitors, or they could even set it up as a money-making business!
