Hit of the Lits: FRA Top 40 Books – June

Hit of the Lits – FRA Top 40

Each month we ask our For Reading Addicts community to let us know what their favourite reads were and then compile our very own monthly chart; this month we had an excellent response from you with over 100 books suggested. From that list, and according to your votes we have a Top 40 Books for June and as always it’s an eclectic bunch.

Get your wish lists ready and start noting down these titles, I’m sure there are going to be plenty of new books you’ll want to add from this top 40.

The Nightingale – Kristin Hannah

Me Before You – Jojo Moyes

This book is everywhere, surely every single person on the planet has at least two copies of it by now. They must have for it to still be appearing in the top ten so often, this month sees a drop of 7 places to number 8 so maybe the bubble has finally burst.

9

The Golem of Hollywood – Jesse and Jonathan Kellerman

A new entry from a father and son team, this book seems to fill all genres at once; crime, thriller, horror, supernatural; they’re all in there. This is the first in a new detective series, so it looks like it’s a good choice for those who like continuity in their literature.

10

Coraline – Neil Gaiman

Our final entry for the featured top ten is from the delectably dark Neil Gaiman, Coraline’s other mother is everything Coraline wants, and more, oh so very much more. Shudder.
