Trilogies (and series) – The Good, The Bad and The Ugly

We were asked a while ago on our Facebook page, which trilogy you felt ended well after a poor start and also, which trilogy left you feeling disappointed after starting out well.
As always, you answered in droves; these are the best and worst endings according to you.

Top of the poll pile for the Trilogy that’s worth persevering with is, The Lord of The Rings.

    sylvia day’s crossfire triology is also a notable gem in the triology treasure chest.

    The Discworld series wasn’t included? What about the Earthsea Chronicles?

    What about The Chronicles of Narnia? Or Lloyd Alexander’s Prydain series? And the superb Lymond series by Dorothy Dunnett? I also like the Agent Pendergast series.

    Black Dagger Brotherhood should be on the list as one of the best. I didn’t find the Sookie Stackhouse series disapppointing. Love it!
