It’s that time of year when all the big corporations reveal their latest advertisements in a ploy to part you from your hard earned cash by producing ridiculously cute, adorably goofy, or worse heartbreakingly poignant Christmas commercials.
Here in the UK there is usually a battle between four or five of the usual suspects to win Christmas Advert of the year and this year the John Lewis Christmas advert has upped the ante with a commercial that features man’s best friend a rather scrumptious boxer dog called Buster.
We’ve had a caring snowman and his search for the perfect scarf for his snowwife, a boy and his imaginary penguin friend, and the adorable little lad who tried to speed up time so he could give his parents their gifts but for 2016 John Lewis has brought out the big guns. Meet Buster a Bulldog that went viral with a video on YouTube that showed his love of trampolines and all things bouncy.
Aww sweet huh? Well in typical large chain style John Lewis not only have the Buster advert to draw you into their stores but they also have a Buster Christmas book available which they have produced in tandem with Nosy Crow and it is exclusive to them.
