Santa Finally Gets A Letter 60 Years Late

When Caversham Builders were working on a property, the last thing they expected to find was a letter, stuffed up the chimney breast.

When they brought it out, they found a letter to Santa, still perfectly legible  and obviously fairly old.

Builder Lewis Shaw shared a photo of the note, written by a young boy called David, to Facebook after discovering it while demolishing the fireplace of a house in Caversham, Reading, Berkshire.

What happened next is an example of what is truly the spirit of Christmas.
