Word of the Day – Muggle

Muggle (noun)

A person who is not conversant with a particular activity or skill.

First used in the Harry Potter books by J. K. Rowling to mean ‘a person without magical powers’ muggle has gone on to describe someone who is inexperienced in any single specific field.
