Word of the Day – Obnubilate

By November 6, 2016Word of the Day

Obnubilate (verb)

ob-noo-bill-ayt

Darken or cover with as if like a cloud, obscure.

From Latin obnubilat, to cover with clouds or fog. I love the way this rolls off the tongue.

Example sentences

“He’ll obnubilate himself from the facts and continue living the fantasy.”
