The Cottage Book Shop - Michigan

“A total home away from home.”

This charming little book shop is located near Sleeping Bear Dunes National Forest on the beautiful Leelanau Penninsula, just two blocks from the shores of Lake Michigan. It features a small but mighty collection of fiction, non-fiction, and children’s books, but the real treat is all of the local interest authors and books they have on hand. Visitors to Glen Arbor’s quaint shops and restaurants can take a break from shopping and dining to grab a book to take to one of the many pristine beaches in the area. You can also get prints and other art work from local artists. I always make a point to stop and buy at least one book from this shop whenever I visit, and the customer service is excellent.
