When Jim Kay started illustrating the Harry Potter series last year, fans were thrilled and anyone who already owns a copy of the fully illustrated Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone will know the illustrated books live up to the hype!
It was said there’d be an illustrated book each year, and a few months ago we brought you a sneak peek of the new Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets illustrated version as it went on pre-order and now as the book industry hypes up for the festive season, Bloomsbury Publishing has launched it’s own trailer!
As you can see the new trailer shows a few more pages from the book than were originally released, and they’ve also incorporated some Bloomsbury magic into the video too! Jim Kay has done the series proud, the new books are absolutely magical and a must in the collection of any avid fan.
I can’t wait to receive my copy, and to see how Kay imagines The Burrow, and the darkness of the Chamber of Secrets, and I can hardly wait for the series to continue as the illustrator is forced to deal with some darker tropes.
