If you’re Harry Potter fan who’s spent countless hours imagining you were exploring the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, then you’ll no doubt be very impressed by this magical nursery a couple built for their little one. With a little hard work and some DIY skills, Casey and Kaycee Daniels created a wonderful Harry Potter-themed nursery that looks like it came straight from the pages of Rowling’s books.
In an interview with the Huffington Post, Kaycee said: “Right when we found out we were pregnant, [Casey] knew he wanted to do a Harry Potter nursery. It took some coaxing from me to agree.”
In order to paint the beautiful mural that looks like you’re gazing out of a window in Hogwarts, the couple brought in the help of artist Nate Baranowski, who did an incredible job. “We had the idea that we wanted it to feel like you were in the castle and wanted a window, but Nate really took it to the next level,” said Kaycee, adding: “It turned out so much better than I could have ever imagined.”
The room took three months to complete and looks like it would fit in perfectly with the Harry Potter books or movies. The books are all on display, as is a n owl, a pair of glasses Harry might wear, a Gryffindor tie and a Golden Snitch. There are even portraits hanging which feature some of the most well known characters, such as Dobby and Albus Dumbledore., though they don’t move!
No doubt a letter from Hogwarts will arrive once the child comes of age.
