By October 31, 2016January 10th, 2019News

The end is nigh!

Diana Gabaldon fans have been enjoying the Outlander series for many years now and with many books in the series it’s a whole world to get lost in. The historical, romance, time-travelling fiction series has a generation of readers hooked, and now there’s a television show drawing in new fans into Jamie and Claire’s world.

It could seem that Outlander will just go on and on forever, and if this is what you were hoping for, then you may be disappointed. In a recent discussion with a fan, Diana Gabaldon confirmed that she felt she would be finished with Outlander after book 10, which means the series is coming to an end.

However, during this discussion she did give away a small clue, and something to look forward to as she confirmed that in book 10 she would explain that scene where Jamie appeared at Claire’s window in book 1, something that has puzzled fans for many years.

As viewers of the television series are still early on in the story, this is fairly good news as it potentially means ten seasons of Outlander to enjoy and as season three hasn’t even premiered yet, there’s a long way to go. However, for book fans who are up to date with the series, the end is nearing, very quickly.

One this is for sure though, book 10 is likely to be bring the epic love story of Claire and Jamie to a thrilling climax, and will go on to explain all the things that have kept fans wondering for more than a decade!

Ok I just finished “Written in My Own Hearts Blood “. Now I’m looking for the next book in the series n can’t figure which one it is.
Is A NOVELLA still one of the next books. I sure hope so because if it ends at the ends with “Written in My Own Hearts Blood” I’ll be bummed.
