Tanith Lee was a hugely prolific author with over 90 novels and three, yes three hundred! Short stories to her name. Born in London on 19th September 1947 she worked as a waitress, a shop assistant, and an assistant librarian whilst attempting to find a publisher for her writing.
It took 10 years of hard work and determination before she finally found success in 1975 with her novel The Birthgrave which allowed her to write full time and give up doing “stupid and soul-killing jobs.”
Sadly she passed away on May 24th 2015 and to celebrate her literary life we have collected together 10 Out of this World Tanith Lee Quotes, we hope you enjoy them.
