Cathy Glass, best known for her nonfiction fostering memoirs is to turn her hand to fiction, and a brand new genre with the release of a crime fiction novel to be released next year.
Glass is a prolific author having written eighteen fostering memoirs, three novels based on true stories within the same genre, and five self help books on parenting and writing. In total the author and foster carer has sold 1.53 million books with her bestseller Damaged (US – UK) selling over a quarter of a million copies.
The crime novels will be released under a pseudonym, Lisa Stone, to reflect the change of pace and the world rights to the first two novels have been sold.
It’s not yet known whether the books will be a series, or stand alone but Glass says she intends on continuing the fast paced narrative that make her books so popular over into the new genre. Glass also confirms that she will still be writing the Cathy Glass books, good news for anyone who is a fan of these brilliant memoirs.
The new books are as yet unnamed but the first is scheduled for release this summer with the second a year later.
