It has been over 50 years since the first movie adaptation of Mary Poppins was released starring Julie Andrews and Dick Van Dyke, so it is about time we had a new one, don’t you think?
Emily Blunt will star as the practically-perfect Mary Poppins, returning to London to help the Banks family once more. Set in 1930s London- with Jane and Michael grown up but still living in Cherry Tree Lane- Poppins comes back to see if they’re still flying kites, and to bring some much-needed joy back into their lives.
