Stephen King has a Dog and his Tweets about Molly AKA The Thing of Evil are Adorable

By October 25, 2016Authors

Almost two years ago in December of 2014 author Stephen King introduced world to the latest addition to his house, a gorgeous tri-colour Pembroke corgi by the name of Molly with a rather lovely photograph of her munching on a Santa hat.

Little did we know that the King of Horror’s future was about to be dictated by this little ball of gorgeousness but take a quick look at his Twitter feed and you will see that his Tweets about Molly AKA The Thing of Evil are adorable, or you could just enjoy the ones we’ve shared here.

Molly’s wonderful character and King’s obvious adoration of this little girl who was rapidly taking over his home soon saw her a much loved addition to his Twitter feed with his followers always delighted to receive an update on how she was getting on.

By March of 2015 after ‘bed #1 had fallen victim to her teeth Molly would be known henceforth as Molly AKA the Thing of Evil.

And from there on in Molly’s plans for world domination became a regular slot in Stephen King’s Twitter feed.

In May of 2015 Molly expanded her horizons and her reign of chaos was no longer limited to the King household.

Although she does remember to maintain a healthy diet during her rampages.

Zombie Irish Wolfhounds!?

And don’t ever presume to knock at the Kings door without being invited, Molly has that covered too.

She’s obviously a fan of her minion’s work as she invokes her inner Annie Wilkes in this Tweet.

Her first year over and the world is Molly’s (cowering) oyster.

Now she’s almost a grown up Molly has moved on to advanced weaponry.

Fortunately the ladies from King’s local library have discovered a way to soothe the Thing of Evil’s ire.

Here we get to enjoy the Thing of Evil in all her twirling, whirling dervish glory.

Occasionally the law makes even Things of Evil nervous.

Busted!

The battle to become the next president reaches the ears of Molly and her Uncle McMurtry (Joe Hill’s dog).

Following in her minion’s footsteps is Molly about to top the literary charts?

A rather sweet look back at the Thing of Evil’s beginnings

Thwarted in her ambitions to rule the world The Thing of Evil turns to drink.

And as  her second birthday comes around, it seems that Molly has everything in order and her plans are coming to fruition.

I love how Molly holds her very famous dad hostage to her every whim, she’s a very lucky pup indeed.
