I picked up this book as I read the sample chapters on a Facebook page, I was intrigued as to where this book would go as I have never read anything like it before.
Considering this is the work of a first-time author I was amazed at the clarity and detail of the world she envisions and weaves onto the pages of a book. Beth starts off with the very real prospect of our future world, damaged beyond the point of repair and takes us on a journey of pure fantasy gold.
The story is fast moving and I had a real affinity with the characters. Add a bit of romance, an edge of your seat cliff-hanger out of nowhere and you have all the ingredients of a fantastic book which I cannot recommend highly enough.
