“A gripping tale of misunderstanding and infatuation.”

NO MAJOR SPOILERS

This story has you hooked from the very beginning. The atmospheric description of the various characters and scene settings draws you in. I liked the fact it was set in the South East as I was able to relate to some of the locations and landmarks. The main character has you hating him one minute and sympathising with him the next.

As I read this book, I was constantly on the edge of my seat, sometimes too scared to turn the page as the clever writing left you wondering and worrying about what was going to happen next. A very pleasing pace, no fillers or unnecessary waffle. It is a good length, easy to read on a journey. The ending took my breath away as, right up to last minute, you have no idea what direction it might go in. A great debut release from these authors and I really hope they will continue to write more books.
