Storyopolis Books & Blooms - Kagawong, Ontario
I had the happy privilege of being able to attend the grand opening of a new local bookshop on Manitoulin Island, Ontario, Canada.
Storyopolis Books and Blooms is a quaint little shop in a stone front building in the village of Kagawong.
We were greeted by a vast array of book marks as soon as we walked in the door. The book marks were free with the purchase of a book.
In the front room, there were a couple of comfy chairs for perusing possible purchases, right near the novels and the local authors.
The local section had a varied selection from travel guides and souvenir books as well as novels and short story collections.
I recognized many of the bestsellers.
Down the hall was the children’s section that includes a lego table for the younger ones to play at while the bookworms are browsing!
The used and bargain book section was popular!
There were many bookish quotes on the walls. I can’t wait to return and read them all!
