Established in 1971 Talking Leaves is Buffalo’s oldest independent bookstore, with knowledgeable and approachable staff. Tiny and unassuming from the outside you will be pleasantly surprised once you step through the doors and into this Tardis of a bookstore.

With a vast range of titles on show, and all genres and tastes catered for Talking Leaves Buffalo also has a pleasant children’s area, and large community board displaying local goings on. They have book readings and author events, comedy nights and and book signings. If they don’t happen to have the book you want they will order it in for the next day for you and also offer a store membership which gives you 10% of all books, what more could you want?
