“A not for profit used bookstore with a great ethos”
Turn the Page... Again - New York
Turn the Page… Again! is a not-for-profit used bookstore which also serves as a retail training program for individuals with a mental diagnosis. Our bookstore helps train and prepare individuals for future employment opportunities. Turn the Page… Again! is an Affirmative Business Bookstore program of Transitional Services for New York (TSINY). The program opened in February of 2010.
All of our books are donated by the community and no book in our store is over five dollars. Each month we have sales which give our customers an even greater discount, such as: Mystery 2 for $3, or All Kids & Teen books $1. We also sell prepackaged snacks, coffee, and tea. All of our flyers, sale posters, business cards, and bookmarks are designed by our workers – they give us a lot of input to make our bookstore great.
In 2015 we were awarded The Queens Courier’s “Best of the Boro” award for Best Bookstore.
