Possibly the best children’s bookshop in the world, Wild Rumpus is filled to the brim with books, and animals too! The shop has two rats, Tilly and Pip, they live under the floorboards in a glass cage and you can watch them run around. The shop also has chinchillas, Amelia and Mr Skeeter, ferrets, Doodle and Ferdinand, three cats, two doves, three cockatiel, two chickens, a lizard they call Spike and a tarantula who goes by the name of Thomas Jefferson!
It’s a really magical place and that is clear from the outside as the bookshop door has a child size door too so children can let themselves in. If you want children who love reading, then take them here to enjoy the magic of Wild Rumpus.
