Lord Byron (22 January 1788 – 19 April 1824) is regarded as one of the greatest British poets and is best known for his  lengthy narrative poems, Don Juan and Childe Harold’s Pilgrimage, and the short lyric poem, “She Walks in Beauty”. The subject of today’s quiz is She Walks in Beauty, a poem Byron was inspired to write after seeing his cousin, Lady Wilmot Horton, in a mourning dress at a party of Lady Sitwell’s on June 11, 1814.
