This word stems from the word ‘recumbent’ which is used to suggest someone who is laying down, leaning or resting.

It’s a word that I felt very fitting for the launch of For Reading Addicts, one that is defined as meaning ‘a knock-out punch or blow’. This can be either physical or verbal but more often than not refers to a verbal tirade.
