Charles Dickens, the most successful novelist of the Victorian era was born on 6th February 1812. His novels, short stories and novellas are as popular today as they were during his lifetime with many of them being made into films, serialised on television and parodied by comedians across the globe.

I could have chosen a thousand quotes and still not reached the limit of Dickens works but I hope these few either take you back to books read once upon a time, or tempt you into reading a Dickens classic.
