A few months ago, we posted an article about 10 amusing reviews of classic books from Harry Potter to Wuthering Heights. A quick look on Amazon will reveal that there are plenty of funny reviews to be found for classic books, some serious, some genuine, but all worth a chuckle. We’ve taken another look and found ten more reviews of classic books that made us smile.

1984 – George Orwell
We’d really like to read that book.

A Game of Thrones – George R.R. Martin
Any and all fans of Game of Thrones should be locked up!

Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone – J.K. Rowling
Looks like a cheeky Hobbit left this review.

Lolita – Vladimir Nabokov
Not enough jokes in this book about paedophilia.

To Kill a Mockingbird – Harper Lee
But racism, rape, and murder is fine.

Moby Dick – Herman Melville
This review was left by Capt. Ahab.

The Catcher in the Rye – J.D. Salinger
She has Holden down to a T.

The Great Gatsby – F. Scott Fitzgerald
Didn’t read a page but I’ll still review it.

The Hobbit – J.R.R. Tolkien
Wait, what?

To Kill a Mockingbird – Harper Lee
False advertising!
