10 Pearls of Wisdom from Winnie the Pooh

Winnie the Pooh is a magical bear, created by A.A. Milne in 1926 in the aftermath of World War 1.  As well as creator of  our favourite childhood bear, he was a noted playwright and poet before the amazing successes of Winnie the Pooh.

The tubby little bear and his little group of friends provide the following quotes.

“Promise me you’ll always remember: You’re braver than you believe, and stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.” .

“Some people care too much. I think it’s called love.”

“Weeds are flowers, too, once you get to know them.”

“Sometimes,’ said Pooh, ‘the smallest things take up the most room in your heart.”

“How do you spell ‘love’?” – Piglet
“You don’t spell it…you feel it.” – Pooh”

“I used to believe in forever, but forever’s too good to be true”

“If there ever comes a day when we can’t be together, keep me in your heart. I’ll stay there forever.”

“Friendship,” said Christopher Robin, “is a very comforting thing to have.”

“We’ll be friends until forever, just you wait and see”

“I think we dream so we don’t have to be apart for so long. If we’re in each other’s dreams, we can be together all the time.”

Who would have thought that a tubby teddy with a head stuffed with fluff could be so clever?
