Author Tim LaHaye was probably best known for his Left Behind series of post apocalyptic novels which focus on a world after the Pretribulation Rapture whereby Jesus descended from Heaven and snatched up those worthy of receiving the rapture, leaving the unworthy behind to suffer.
Born on April 27, 1926 LaHaye was an American evangelical Christian minister, author, and speaker; he was also vocal and prolific in his beliefs that homosexuality was a sin and that the Illuminati is secretly engineering world affairs, which, along with his opinion on Catholicism made him a controversial figure.
Controversial he may have been but he was also a brilliant author and with over 65 million sales his literary life is worthy of commemorating, and to do just that, here are 10 timeless Quotes from Tim LaHaye.

Tim LaHaye died at the age of 90 on July 25th 2016 after suffering a stroke but his books remain as a permanent memorial to a much loved Christian author.
