World Book Day on the 2nd of March 2017, was another astounding success thanks to schools all over the UK and Ireland ditching uniform for fancy dress.
Each child in participating schools dressed up as their favourite (or their parents’ favourite) book characters. There were some of the usual Harry Potters, Willy Wonkas, and Cats in Hats, as well as some of more imaginative costumes.

World Book Day is also celebrated in the USA, but they hold it on the 23rd of April; we look forward to seeing more hilarious and creative costumes!
