Books for all ages; adults and children too!
No matter how old we get, books make the most wonderful gift, particularly when it’s a book that you were really hoping to get! Last week over on our Facebook page we asked you which books you were hoping to get in your Christmas stocking, we had an adult and youth question, but with not so many replies I’ve thrown all the results together to make my list of the hottest books this Christmas!

Harry Potter Illustrated – J. K Rowling
By far the most desired book this Christmas is the new Harry Potter Illustrated, and with a new book promised each year, it could be on the Christmas list for a few years to come!
Career of Evil – Robert Galbraith
It comes as no surprise to us that our top two on the list are by the same author, under different names. Career of Evil is the third in the Cormoran Strike mysteries series and having read it I can confirm it’s the best yet!

Six of Crows – Leigh Bardugo
It’s another YA offering next as Leigh Barugo continues the Grishaverse with Six of Crows. This one is on my own Christmas list, I hope I’m lucky!
The Shepherd’s Crown – Terry Pratchett
The latest, and final novel in the Discworld series, released after Pratchett’s death is a must-have for many of you readers!

The Zig Zag Girl – Elly Griffiths
This was released a year ago, the first in what promises to be a thrilling mystery series, but it still made its way onto the Christmas list for some of you!
The Night Circus – Elin Morganstern
I haven’t yet lost myself in the magical world of The Night Circus, though it’s on my TBR and many of you are hoping it’s in your Christmas stocking too!

Bazaar of Bad Dreams – Stephen King
Just released in time for the festive season is King’s latest book and many of you hope to be reading it come Christmas Day!
So there it is, a fair mix of books! What are you hoping will be in your stocking? Tell us in the comments!
