Samuel Langhorne Clemens was born on 30th November 1835 (died 21st April 1910) ; the man who we would come to know as Mark Twain. He’s considered to be one of the greatest American authors of all times, but as well as classics like Tom Sawyer and the Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, Twain was as well known for his quotes and witticisms, many of which hold as true today as they did then.

With that in mind, what better way to celebrate the great American author and humorist than with some Mark Twain quotes that could easily have been written today.
