It’s just a few weeks now since we heard the news that Netflix is adapting Shirley Jackson’s The Haunting of Hill House for series, and now the first trailer is here. The book is widely accepted to be one of the scariest books ever written, and here’s hoping the adaptation lives up to the tense creepiness of the book.
This week, Netflix released a teaser trailer for the new series, and it really is just a teaser, giving nothing away at all. A shadowy figure, some moving furniture, a ticking clock and the noise of silence. Check it out below:
The release date is October 12th so if you want to read the novel first, you’ll need to be quick!
