Author Michael Rosen Spends 47 Days in Intensive Care

By May 27, 2020Authors, News

The last few weeks have been a worrying time for many, and for those who have got sick during the Covid19 pandemic it’s been a particular worry. Several weeks ago we saw that Michael Rosen was battling pneumonia due to suspected Covid19, and while his wife has not confirmed whether or not the author had the novel virus, she has announced that the beloved British author is out of intensive care after 47 days.

Michael Rosen is one of the best loved children’s authors of all time, and is name behind the iconic ‘Going on a Bear Hunt’. His wife, Emma Louise Williams announced several weeks ago that the author was very poorly and in intensive care but has since been released onto the ward.

His wife says that this is just one step in the author’s recovery and while he’s not now in intensive care, he is still under hospital care and it will be a while before he’s back to Twitter, and back to work just yet.

If good wishes could be part of a cure then we’re sure the wonderful Michael Rosen has a million. It seems the author is part of everyone’s childhood, from generation to generation and we wish him back to full health very soon and send him a ton of positivity.
