“Since ‘Sex and the City’ there hasn’t been a worthy female alternative for guy’s football-game nights.”

NO MAJOR SPOILERS

This book is probably the most hilarious book I read since “The Devil Wears Prada”. I found a lot of similarities between the two but the writing style here is definitely what makes the book awesome. I was fascinated by the crazy, hectic, colorful world of Karnie, the witty redhead that lands in a major advertising agency.

From that point on, her life becomes a mash of sassy people, witty and flamboyant copywriter. She starts to become workaholic… Oh and there’s also a love affair happening which is always good. The concept of having a major office and a hectic lifestyle was something I could easily relate and it was nice to read about it in a humorous way.

I think that strong women like Karnie should be in a lot more books because it’s important to embrace role models like her.

This is such an enjoyable read, and I highly recommend it to everyone who likes a bit of sass in their books.
