An absolutely brilliant story, I was so hooked, loved every minute of it, I couldn’t put my kindle down as I needed to know the ending, and what a brilliant ending it was.”

I raced through this book!

It gripped me from the start and I just had to keep reading!

This being my favourite genre, I usually cannot decide whether to like the protagonist or not.

But Tessa I wanted to like..a grieving mother who finds a child in her kitchen, just like that, out of the blue, tries to do the right thing, and is then hounded by the press and public and made to think if she is really losing her mind!

Where did the child come from?

If she abducted him, why would she choose to call the police herself?

And if not, who is responsible?

As Tessa, first unwillingly, and then determinedly looks for answers, she discovers something she could never have imagined to be the truth!

The suspense is maintained till the end and that made it a 5* read for me.
