Writers rejoice- a new app is here to stop you procrastinating and to get your novel finished!
With National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) coming up soon this app has landed just in time for aspiring writers. Named The Most Dangerous Writing App, it offers over 500 writing prompts if you are stuck for something to write, however if you don’t write continuously the app fades and eventually disappears.
Writers can set their own time limit in which to write but writing will fade after a few seconds of inactivity so the trick is to keep typing no matter what- even if it is just “lkhashf skhflhlh” type nonsense.
There is no red, squiggly line telling you to check your spelling so writers can’t use that as an excuse. The blind panic you feel when your mind goes blank is very real but you soon learn to harness the energy to keep typing.
Thankfully, if you do fail (which is likely), you can export what you wrote to PDF, TXT, Kindle, or Doc.
The app fades and eventually deletes your writing if you do not keep typing.
