Bill Bailey has released a book of meditative and humorous essays to lift our spirits.
The UK comedian-turned-amateur-dancer wrote and illustrated (alongside Joe Magee) the collection of essays which was released in October 2020.
Bailey took a break from dance practice with the talented Oti Mabuse for Strictly Come Dancing (UK equivalent to Dancing With The Stars in the USA) to record a short video of himself opening his first batch of the new book, ready to sign each copy ordered from his website.
The book is full of funny and thoughtful musings in essay form, meant to help combat anxiety and calm the worried mind. It is encouraging and uplifting, with many ideas of how the reader could grab happiness in the moment- from whooping with joyful abandon to becoming completely immersed in your favourite music, and more.
In a rare break from training with the wonderful @OtiMabuse I finally get round to seeing my new book. Hope it’ll make you smile. pic.twitter.com/VPeI9kR46s
