Official Downing Street historian Anthony Seldon is to publish a definitive insider account of Theresa May’s time in power later this year. The historian and social commentator “will tell the compelling inside story of the most turbulent period in modern British politics for 100 years”.
May at 10 will be the latest in his series of books on British Prime Ministers by the historian and “It will describe how Theresa May arrived in 10 Downing Street in 2016 with the clearest, yet toughest, agenda of any Prime Minister since the Second World War: delivering Brexit,”.
Publisher Biteback will publish the book in the UK and Commonwealth and the book will be published in October 2019 with pre-orders already open. May at 10 will include a series of interviews with May’s closest aide and allies.
This will be the fourth biography of a Prime Minister written by Seldon who has also published Brown at 10, and Cameron at 10 in recent times. Seldon is a noted historian, and social commentator and is honorary historical advisor to 10 Downing Street. This position gives him unparalleled access to the government, and his vast experience of British politics puts him in a class of his own.
May at 10 will be released on 3rd October and is available for pre-order now.
