Recreating gruesome monsters and ghoulish creatures from well-known stories can be tricky. Readers will expect them to bare a striking resemblance to the creepy illustrations, and the more realistic the better!
Thankfully the team behind the creatures in the adaptation of Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark are experts at recreating nightmares. Spectral Motion is run by Mike Elizalde, a creature effects expert, whose passion for animatronics led him to create some well-known creatures in movies such as X-Men and Hellboy.
