Beatrix Potter Coins Are Rare and Collectable

In 2016 the Royal Mint introduced the new Beatrix Potter 50 pence coins with three different sets of five: Peter Rabbit, Jemima Puddle-Duck, Mrs Tiggy-Winkle, Squirrel Nutkin and a special 150th anniversary coin.

The coins are currently ranking highly in the scarcity list based on the fact that not many people own them and they are in very high demand.

The coins are going for around £4 on eBay, and may only increase in value since they are not being produced any more. The Royal Mint is set to introduce new and exciting sets of coins, not for circulation, featuring COLOUR pictures of the beloved characters.

The first round of coins were so popular that the Royal Mint currently have yet more limited edition coins featuring Benjamin Bunny, Jeremy Fisher, and Tom Kitten to offer.

Collectors can purchase either the plain silver coin for £10 (above), or a rare collectable colour in presentation box for £120 (below).
