Yesterday, we reported the news that J.K. Rowling, along with several other notable Twitter users, was in stitches over the fact that President Donald Trump published a Tweet boasting of his writing skills. The problem is, the Tweet actually contained an error. Trump used the word ‘pour’ when he meant to use ‘pore’. He has since deleted the Tweet and republished it with the correct use of the word.
Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling seemed to find the whole situation hilarious.

A Trump supporter seemed to take issue with Rowling’s mirth and threatened to burn his collection of Harry Potter books. Those who follow Rowling on Twitter will know she often responds to her critics directly.
Sweetheart, if you read the whole of Harry Potter and thought the author would support an authoritarian braggart who’s too dumb to know how dumb he is, burn away. And so will I. pic.twitter.com/6U9PNqx0rK

Plenty of people came to back Rowling up.
This person is filled with anxiety and fear… Harry Potter taught us how to be courageous, not by not being afraid, but by doing what is right anyway. Your books are a gift and a treasure. Don’t let trolls bother you…your work like you is now immortal! You are a gift to us!

It seems Rowling isn’t afraid to let her voice be heard, even if it causes a stir.
