Penguin Random House UK who publishes Michelle Obama’s book Becoming has teamed up with gal-dem magazine and Waterstones Gower Street to create a Michelle Obama inspired pop-up bookshop in London.
Open from now until Wednesday 28th November, the pop-up shop is located on Bury Place, London and features books by women and gender non-binary people of colour.
The shop will also display a series of photographs that also feature in Becoming, and this exhibition will be donated to Brixton’s Black Cultural Archives when the Pop-up shop finishes.
Find the gal-dem X Becoming Penguin Random House Pop-up shop at 10 Bury Place, London WC1A 2JL – open 12 – 5pm every day until Wednesday.
