Neil Patrick Harris Releases Second Magic Misfits Book

For the sake of full disclosure I’d just like to say I had no idea that Neil Patrick Harris had released a first Magic Misfits book, this bit of literary news seems to have passed me by.

The actor, famous for his role as Barney in How I Met Your Mother and Count Olaf in the recent adaptation of A Series of Unfortunate Events, released Magic Misfits in late 2017. The book is a children’s story about Carter, a street magician who doesn’t believe in magic and knows it’s all just tricks.

The Magic Misfits got a four star rating across the Internet and now NPH has announced the release of the second book in the series. Neil has been talking about the new book on his Instagram page and it’s for sale now!

Magic Misfits: The Second Story is being recommended for children between the ages of 8 and 12 (Piffle! I’ve already ordered my copy and I’m 41), and is recommended for fans of Lemony Snickey, David Walliams and David Baddiel.
