By October 14, 2018New Releases

Since Clare Mackintosh released I Let You Go back in 2014, she’s become a firm favourite with crime thriller and suspense fans. Since that debut, two more books have followed, I See You in 2016 and Let me Lie in early 2018. Now the author has a new book in the works and made an announcement via Twitter to fans.

In a series of Twitter posts on 12th October 2018, Clare Mackintosh teased details of an upcoming book in a series of tweets. It all started with ‘May I tell you about my new book?’

The author then went on to explain that she is prouder of this book than anything else she has written, stating that in many ways it feels like her debut. She claims she has wanted to write this book for more than ten years, after her and her husband were asked to make a decision that would change their lives forever. She says it took a long time before she could write about it, but the time is here and this is the result.

Mackintosh followed this with a series of teaser tweets as follows:

Fans responded with excitement and if you’re a fan then we can tell you that After the End is marked for release on June 27th 2019, so you have a while to go yet but it’s already available for pre-order so you can ensure you don’t miss out.
