By August 20, 2017New Releases, News

The Little Book of Lykke is Coming!

The Little Book of Hygge, based on the Danish model for happiness was pretty much the most talked about book of last winter and those who are fans will be thrilled to hear the news that it’s getting a follow up.

The Little Book of Lykke by Danish author and happiness expert Meik Wiking will be released on 7th September 2017 (December US) and is almost guaranteed to be a Christmas bestseller, and here in the UK, publishers Penguin Life are partnering with mental health charity SANE in publication of the book.

Wiking knows a thing or two about happiness and wellbeing, so much so he is the CEO of the Happiness Research Institute in Copenhagen. The Little Book of Hygge was life transforming for many people looking to simplify their lives in this busy modern world and the Little Book of Lykke will follow on from where it left off.

Marjorie Wallace, founder of SANE called it a ‘Transformative project” saying Wiking’s book has the potential to guide many. The World Health Organisation say that around one in six of us are affected by a mental health condition at any one time at a time when depression is the leading cause of ill-health and disability.

In this modern world happiness can be elusive for many of us, even those who consider ourselves to have good mental health and given the popularity of the Little Book of Hygge, we think The Little Book of Hykke will be on many a Christmas list this year.
