Our very own glow-up inspiration, Matthew Lewis, has gone and got hitched!

The British actor, who we all know and love from the Harry Potter movie adaptions, broke millions of hearts this month after wedding the love of his life, Angela Jones.

The couple met at Universal Studios, Florida: the home of “The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.” While Angela was working at the Wizarding World in January 2016, our Matthew attended as a VIP. The sparks flew instantly, with both the wizard and muggle falling for the other quickly- as if the potion Amortentia was involved. They got engaged that following November, and despite some issues with a long-distance relationship at first:

“I never believed in soul mates until we met,” Jones wrote on her blog. “We came from two different countries, 4,334 miles apart, and yet we were one and the same. A few months after meeting, he proposed to me in Paris during my first trip abroad. Yes, it’s been that kind of fairytale thing.”

In her blog, Angela continued: “Not every day was sunshine and rainbows though. We spent most of our relationship FaceTiming. We went days, weeks and months without being able to see each other. It was hard. Really, really, really hard. We decided that it was time to finally be together. And that’s how this story begins.”

The wedding took place in Italy (so romantic!) and Matthew joked about missing his favourite band Arctic Monkeys perform ‘just’ so he could get married.

“Not only did I miss @ArcticMonkeys in LA but they were performing in Italy at the same time we were there and my wife made me get married instead. Fuming.”

They look so happy, and make such a handsome couple!

Best of luck to them both- hopefully they can show that a muggle and a wizard can live happily ever after.

Next question on our lips is- what house would Angela be sorted into? Gryffindor like her husband? Or is she more of a sweet Hufflepuff? Or a smart Ravenclaw? Or even an ambitious Slytherin?
