Harry Potter fans are known for their dedication and passion- and this couple is no exception!
The Potter-obsessed couple too to Reddit to show off their creative engagement- complete with three-part ring set with precious stones. Reddit users Jordan and Katie (rebelappliance and Katiemack777) explained how their mutual love for everything Hogwarts and Harry Potter led to their engagement, topped off with a stunning engagement ring for Katie, designed by Jordan himself.
“My (now) fiancé knows that I love Harry Potter almost as much as I love him, so he designed a pretty special ring for me.” Katie wrote.
As well as the traditional gold band set with a solitary diamond, Jordan added a couple of extra bands, these set with red and green gemstones on top and yellow and blue gemstones below to represent to Hogwarts houses- Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff, and Ravenclaw.
After sharing their good news on Reddit, the couple was contacted by the company who helped created the ring, and were sent some extra special Potter-themed gifts including a gold bracelet, a pair of cufflinks, and t shirts.
The cufflinks feature the iconic Harry Potter glasses and lightning bolt scar design, perfect for any fan of the boy who lived. Katie’s bracelet is a delicate gold and depicts the immortal words from Professor Snape ‘Always’.
